Seeing your kids grow. Seeing them become smart humans, seeing the light click in their brains and just seeing how they develop into wonderful people. I love watching kids discover and learn the world.
My experience with special needs children...
I nannied for a 6 year old girl for about a year on and off when she wasn’t in school while Mom was working in the house who was developmentally delayed and suffered from seizures from a meningitis diagnosis when she was a baby. She needed a “personal assistance” to be with her at all times. we played a lot of games, did enrichment activities, and played outside.
I also worked at a summer camp where I was a counselor for a 10yr old girl who was also developmentally delayed and suffered from seizures from a sickness when she was younger . I was with her throughout the daytime for a week.
