A little bit about me

Spending time with little ones has always been one of my favorite things to do! Over the years, I’ve volunteered more than 100 hours at a daycare, where I got to play games, read stories, help keep the classroom tidy, and even teach some beginner English and Spanish. I’ve also worked as a nanny for both a toddler and an infant, and have plenty of babysitting experience under my belt. Through it all, I’ve learned how important it is to create a space where kids feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. I bring a lot of energy, patience, creativity, and heart into every day. I am CPR/BLS certified and I work at an ER as my day job.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered at science camps and daycares. I also taught 100s of kids a week to swim.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love board games and reading. However, I think outside activities are my favorite. I love taking kids birding/nature scavenger hunting in a park or even just in their backyard!

The most important part about being a nanny...

While volunteering at a daycare, I spent my days playing with toddlers, reading them books, and helping clean up. At first, it was hard to tell if I was truly making a difference. But then, I met a little girl who rarely responded when anyone spoke to her. One day, while reading to her, I decided on a whim to try speaking in Spanish. I’ll never forget the way her face lit up the pure joy in her eyes as she turned toward me was unforgettable. In that moment, I realized how even the smallest gesture can mean the world to a child. She may not remember it, but I’ll always carry that moment with me, knowing I made a difference in her day.
