I have also worked in a Juvenile detention, while not an ideal idea to consider for experience, it taught me some invaluable skills. I was CPR and First aid trained, I learned appropriate manners in speaking with kids to gain compliance with what you need. The youngest kid I worked with while employed there was 8 and it really taught me how to help troubled kids. I have also babysat for many years and have come to love working with kids, and to help them play in an educational manner.
