A little bit about me

My name is Alynna, I am born & raised in the Dayton, Ohio area. I am a very bubbly and outgoing person who works well with kiddos and loves animals (specifically dogs because I am allergic to cats sadly)! I love cooking & trying new baking recipes, so meal prep is easy for me to do! I also need a clean work space so light house cleaning is also something I wouldn't mind doing at all!

This would be my first time as a nanny but I would babysit for my mom's coworkers here and there over the summer while I was in high school for some extra money and I have had over 2 years of childcare experience through the YMCA and another summer camp job. I have always been great with kids since I was little so working with kids has always been a passion of mine.

I have worked for the YMCA as a summer camp counselor and before/after care teacher since May of 2023.

I did one summer as a counselor for the Kettering Recreation Center

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

For indoor activities I personally enjoy doing board games, card games, crafts, puzzles and having reading time!

For outdoor activities I love taking kids to the park or on a walk around the neighborhood! I also enjoy playing games like tag or doing crafts that will get messy! Having fun with water is always a good time! If able I would love to take them out and about to do activities outside of the home!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having full active supervision on the child/children at all times! Actively engage with the children so they know you're not just there to watch them but to keep them safe and to have fun with them! get to know the child/children to gain a relationship with them and to also gain trust with the family!
