Hi I am Alyssa! I am a very energetic, caring, and patient babysitter! I have been babysitting regularly on Care. com for about 4 years, and I have decided to come over to Nanny Lane now! Also, I am currently a Sunday school teacher and have been now for 7 years. I have taught children from the ages of 5 months-12 years old from all different backgrounds. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have nannied for multiple families with kids ranging from the ages of 5 months to 12 years old. With being a nanny I have done meal prepping, driving kids to school and activities, helping with school work, changing diapers, putting down for naps, light cleaning, running errands, and so much more! I have also been a Sunday school teacher for 7 years! As a Sunday school teacher, I have cared for up to 15 kids at a time, and I have prepared lesson plans, snacks, and activities for the class.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love doing anything the kids are interested in! My favorite activities include anything that is outdoors and arts and crafts. But I’m always ready to get involved in whatever the kids love!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is becoming a positive addition to a family. I think this varies among what kind of family you are working with. Sometimes a positive addition to a family is helping bring structure into the kids life, but sometimes it is simply giving a child attention in playing with them or helping them with school work. So I believe being a positive addition that each family uniquely needs is very important.

My favorite nanny moments are always when I am able to be a positive addition in a kid’s life! For example, when kids are having a rough day or just need someone to support or comfort them, I love being able to be that someone and being able to brighten their day!
