Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have always loved playing games with my brothers. I am also an avid reader and so if the kids love to read, I am always up for story time!! My brothers personally love the outdoors, so hiking and going to the park are our main activities! When we are inside, board/card games are always on the agenda, so are games like hide and seek, and even building forts! However, I am also down to watch any movie if that's the kind of thing the kid(s) love!
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me the most about being a nanny is making sure the kid(s) are safe. I also want them to have a good time and make wonderful memories whether it be with me, or with their guardians!! I always want what is best for the kids, and I am willing to do whatever is needed to make sure this happens.
My experience with special needs children...
Throughout middle and high school, I have worked with special needs children. I worked with them the most last year, my junior year, and I loved it. We had kids with down syndrome, birth defects, and more. I helped them stay calm in certain situations, I helped them with their schoolwork, I went on trips with them, and I also played lots of games with them!
