The most important thing about being a nanny is providing a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for the kids to grow, learn, and develop. Making a connection with the kids I interact with is so important because I play a very important part in the kid's upbringing, mental, and physical health as well as teaching them healthy habits that impact their success as they mature.

I have experience working with two young adults with special needs at my current workplace. I help them pass out deserts and products, let them assist in making certain foods and drinks, and helping them interact and have a fun time with customers and staff.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment in babysitting was when I was drawing my favorite person/thing with a little six year-old girl. When we both were finished, we showed our pictures we drew to each other at the same time, and she drew me. I was so touched by this moment and am so blessed to be a part of these children's lives.
