I worked as a nanny from the ages 16 to 19. After that I got a job at a early childhood development school as an after school teacher. The next year they promoted me to assistant teacher. I usually make a list of age appropriate activities at the beginning of the week: things like, sensory play with rice, pouring stations or making edible play dough. For older kids that would look more like playing sports outside, writing our own choose your adventure books, drawing and coloring- things like that!
