More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am the eldest of five children and have taken on a significant caregiving role within my family from a young age. Each of my four younger siblings is unique, and supporting them has taught me patience, empathy, and adaptability. In the absence of another adult role model to assist my mother, I naturally stepped into a parental role, helping to manage daily responsibilities and provide emotional and practical support. Two of my brothers are diabetic, and one is also on the autism spectrum. As a result, I have gained meaningful, hands-on experience with both diabetes management and supporting individuals with autism—skills that have greatly enhanced my ability to provide attentive, informed care.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors and engaging in active play, such as swimming, going to the park, and participating in various sports. I also enjoy indoor activities that spark creativity and imagination, including playing with dolls, dress-up, and video games—anything that brings joy to the children I’m with. Having younger siblings, I am constantly involved in interactive play and understand the importance of meeting children at their level. In addition to play, I regularly assist my siblings with their homework and school assignments, further supporting their learning and development. These experiences have helped me develop a well-rounded approach to caregiving that balances fun, engagement, and educational support.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important aspects of being a nanny are ensuring the child’s safety and well-being, being trustworthy and reliable, and demonstrating patience and compassion. Effective communication with both children and parents is essential, along with adaptability and creativity to meet each child’s unique needs. A great nanny actively supports a child’s development by providing a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment where children can feel secure, loved, and encouraged to grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments in caregiving is when a simple activity turns into a meaningful experience for both the children and myself. Whether it’s creating an indoor play space on a rainy day or finding creative ways to keep children engaged, these moments of connection and imagination are truly rewarding. They remind me that fostering a joyful and supportive environment is at the heart of quality childcare.
