More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in many different types of childcare settings. In the past, I have been a nanny for a family with two girls ages 5 and 6. I also used to babysit a little boy who was 6 months old. I previously worked at a daycare where I was the lead infant and toddler teacher. Most recently I was a nanny for a family with an 18-month-old baby girl and a 7-year-old boy. I have experience with all ages ranging from newborns to school age. I am also very comfortable with caring for multiple children at once.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing crafts, especially coloring I think it really nice to use art and crafts to allow children to express themselves. I also love playing outside and going on walks and just exploring nature. With older children, I also enjoy cooking or doing some fun activities in the kitchen with the parent's permission.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making a positive impact on the kids. Being a nanny is so important. The kids are always watching you & most times looking up to you. They will follow your actions. So you’re able to leave a positive impact on them is so big. What’s the cross that bridge and becoming close to them it’s a feeling like no other it’s the best thing ever.

I have no prior experience with children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when the youngest girl I previously nannied for told me I was her best friend and she never wanted me to leave. It was such a heartwarming moment. I had been trying for a few weeks to get her to open up more to me because she was very attached to her previous nanny but when she told me that it melted my heart. My favorite part of being a nanny is when I make a deep connection with the kids. It means so much to me that they value our relationship.
