Hello! My name is Alyssa, I am 22 years old and I am a senior at UNT. I have worked with children at the COPPELL YMCA for almost 6 years now and have babysat/nannied many families outside of the YMCA as well. I am CPR/first aid certified and get re-trained every couple months to get caught up! I have experienced many ages from 3 month olds all the up to 15 year olds. I love kids and love the idea of helping them grow their minds, teaching them and overall making sure they are well taken care of. I can cook, clean, drive and do light housekeeping!

My experience with special needs children...

I have only cared for one special needs child that had cerebral palsy. He was a regular that would come to the YMCA and so we did our best to make him feel cared for! He couldn’t use his hands that much so me and the other ladies that would work with me would help him with anything he needed, help him color, help him play and if needed, help him when he needed to go potty.
