Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience in child care for ages around 3-9 from working at a nursery in my church and volunteering at church activities. In the nursery, it was me and two other girls. We would play with the kids, keep them entertained, make them snacks, and wait for their parents to come back to get them. When I volunteered at church activities, I would have a group of kids (preschoolers and elementary schoolers) from around 8am-12pm. I would take them throughout different rooms where there were different activities and help them get snacks or whatever they needed.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Personally I like to draw, color, paint, play video games, and I also like to spend time outside. I will be willing to do any activity the child wants to do as long as it's safe. I want them to have fun and feel like I'm also their friend.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is keeping the child safe and happy.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience taking care of my sister with special needs. She is developmentally delayed. She is older than me but mentally, she is like a kid. I watch her often while my family is out.
