Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My experience spans multiple grade levels and roles, allowing me to connect with kids in a variety of ways. I’ve worked as a caregiver for a fourth grader, which helped me develop a personal, hands-on approach to child care. Additionally, I’ve co-taught ELA in Kindergarten, taught 2nd grade math, and served as a math interventionist for 6th and 7th graders.

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve honed skills in building positive relationships with children, fostering a supportive and structured environment, and making learning fun. I love helping kids build confidence, whether it’s through educational activities or creative play. This summer, I’m excited to bring my experience and energy to caring for your children in a way that is engaging, nurturing, and fun!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love creating engaging activities for kids, both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, we can enjoy DIY crafts, bake together, or have fun with an educational scavenger hunt or storytime. I also love setting up art stations, doing simple science experiments, or having a dance party to burn off some energy. Outdoors, we can go on nature walks, set up obstacle courses, or enjoy a water balloon toss. Whether it's building a Lego city, flying kites, or creating sidewalk chalk art, I enjoy mixing creativity and learning in everything we do. The goal is to keep things fun, interactive, and full of exploration!
