A little bit about me

Hello! I am currently an experienced Para Educator in a local school district and absolutely love working with kids. My past nannying experience includes working full time with triplet three year old girls, working with young infants and toddlers, and working in a professional capacity with ages 5-12. I am well versed in balancing the needs of multiple children. I am currently in school earning my dual degree in Elementary/Special Education and have a 10 year old child of my own. As a caregiver I am incredibly attentive, patient, responsible, loving, engaging, and communicative. I am mindful and respectful of boundaries and strive to have open, honest communication! Outdoor time, reading, puzzles, music, activities, arts and crafts, etc. are all important elements to creating a fun, positive environment. I am a non smoker with a clean background check, clean driving record, and a fully insured, safe vehicle. My availability is currently part time, but I could be open to full time.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Prior to my full time nannying experience I babysat for multiple families for close to ten years and developed tight knit relationships with them. I also went through the process of becoming certified as a doula and provided postpartum infant care for families. I currently work full time with young children in an elementary school as I pursue my degree in Elementary/Special Education.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, music, games, puzzles, bike/scooter rides, parks, playdates with friends. I love taking kids to the beach, exploring new local hiking spots, going to spray parks in the summertime, and finding active indoor play places for rainy days.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I nannied for triplet three year old girls it was an absolute joy. They said and did the funniest things and their interactions with eachother were adorable. I remember taking long walks in the neighborhood and the girls finding all kinds of treasures to take home- rocks, leaves, bugs, etc.
