Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the arts and sciences, so any time I can encourage a creative game, project, experiment, exploration, or adventure I will seize the opportunity to do just that! Some of my absolutely favorite things to do including having dance parties, cooking new foods, exploring nature trails, having picnics (both inside and outside), and collecting treasures. I am also known for storytelling abilities and singing Disney songs!
My experience with special needs children...
Working in a classroom, I have learned to work with and design strategies to support student's daily success. I believe in giving "tools" for children's "tool kit" to assist in their social and emotional development as well as gross motor development. If you child has any special needs or requires unique assistance, I would be happy to offer my help with their care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My daily goal is to find something that demonstrates beauty or inspires fun! Some of favorite moments are observing children's ability to problem solve or organize their work and communicating with their peers. However, I also love a great conversation with a child, listening to their input on situations and figuring out how their little minds work!
