Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking kids to parks for picnics and just to play! I also take them on walks around the neighborhood if the parents are okay with it. As for indoors, I usually play games with them or have them help me cook meals which can be super fun if they’re old enough. I love reading books to them at bedtime and tucking them in!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure kids are safe, comfortable, and happy. I also find it very important to be completely transparent with the parents about how the nannying went and any problems that may have occurred.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently work with 2 special needs brothers, and stay in contact with their multiple therapists and counselors. I handle their meds and dietary needs and get them to any appointments. I have multiple years of experience with kids that have varying special needs.
