A little bit about me

I'm an outgoing person who loves children & I actually started babysitting at a young age of 13 on top of always watching my younger siblings while my parents went to work. After graduating high school I moved to Austin & became a luve in Nanny for 2 years. I later went back to Fredericksburg & found a job as a Montessori Preschool teacher at 20yrs old & I absolutely fell in love with it. I have worked at 3 different Montessori schools. After having Mt own children I decided to leave that & become a Nanny again only this time it was a 8a-5p shift. Sometimes staying over for a week or a weekend while the parents traveled out of the country fir work. After getting married I decided to get my CNA license & have been working home healthcare but my heart has always been more in love with working with children..

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I taught at 3 different Montessori Preschools as well as babysat for a few of the parents there at some of the schools I work at. Also was a Nanny for 3/4 families & one was a live in caring after a newborn. Worked at a children's indoor inflatable park. Lastly but most important I had 2 children of my own who are now 20 & 15.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going om nature walks, making crafts, reading or story time as most kids like to call it. Riding bikes, having tea parties, jumping on trampoline if family has one. Going to a playground to let out all that energy & getting on the swings with them of course. Playing a card game, board game, or playing a sport.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being a Nanny because I not only enjoy working with all ages of children but getting to know the families is the best part.

When I was told I was the children's best friend & when I flew on a plane for my very first time & needed to fly with 2 children to salt lake city Utah & back to fbg alone. But on the way there I was way more scared then the 2 girls that I was watching & they comforted me & made me feel so comfortable & got me over my fear of flying .
