Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have lots of babysitting experience, taking care of multiple children, and different ages. I also was a counselor in training for two years for Camp Kesem, a camp for kids who’s parents went through cancer. I’m also a mother and take care of my daughter 24/7.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing different crafts with kids or just doing a lot of imaginative play. I’ve done soccer in the past and like to be active. Playing outside or video games are all things I’m interested and am open to all kinds of activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being attentive to the children and what their needs are. Being a friend and someone who is there for them is important as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have a lot of experience with kids with special needs. I do have a niece with autism and grew up with a cousin with autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Not a specific nanny moment, but one where I worked with kids. I volunteered to help younger kids in a jump rope for heart fundraiser. I noticed some kids didn’t know how to jump rope so I decided to go around asking them if they wanted to play helicopter. If your not familiar with this game, you swing the jumprope close to the ground around you and the kids jump over it when you call out a color that they’re wearing. I made sure to ask kid that were shy or looked interested as well. After having fun a little boy came up to me and hugged me. He thanked me and said that he had a lot of fun. My heart melted. I already had a ton of fun with the kids but hearing that they had fun too was the best,
