The most important part about being a nanny is building trust with both the children and the parents. Kids need to feel safe, seen, respected and genuinely cared for, while parents need to know their children are with someone dependable, attentive, and invested in their well-being.

I used to work at a school for children with special needs, called Shema Kolainu (Hear Our Voices). The children I worked with mostly had ASD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was watching a child I cared for become genuinely excited about theatre after I introduced her to it. Seeing her curiosity grow and knowing I helped create a memory and possibly a lifelong love of the arts was incredibly special to me. We even started putting on our own shows.
