Hey there! My names Amani and I am your future nanny. I am energetic, fun, respectful, honest, responsible and also got a sense of humor. I can cook simple meals or complex meals. I can clean the house, wash clothes and run errands. And I can also help the kids with homework help or subject help when needed or asked. I’m young, so I will have no problem running around with the kiddos or playing games with them to keep them active. I am comfortable with all types of pets, I have my own fluffballs so I love them. Just overall, your kids will have the best time with me. They will never be bored there will always be something to do to to keep them out of your ear complaining and with me enjoying themselves. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been taking care of kids since I can remember. I helped raise cousins and siblings in the family from birth, I worked (when I was old enough) at my moms daycare, and later on worked at my grandmas daycare and now I occasionally take care of my great-grandmother, and babysit alongside that. I’ve taken care of people my entire life because it’s my passion. Nobody deserves to not have someone to watch over them, when they need it most or to guide them down the right path. I’ve also recently worked as a nanny the watch 1 infant, 2 toddlers and 1 pre-teen which really worked well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing every activity ! Whether it be playing the Xbox/PS4, or running outside, playing tag, playing chase, playing basketball, soccer, football, softball, you name it. Or even if it’s just sitting at the table playing a simple game of monopoly, anything your child wants to do, I’m capable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me the most about being a nanny is your patience and attitude. Patience and emotions are most noticeable through interactions with others and facial expressions. Having a positive face enlightens the mood of others and makes them comfortable with you. As well as patience; when someone is impatient with a child and the child is old enough to see that, the child with grow uncomfortable with the sitter and they creates a rift in the sitting process. Another thing is honesty and time management. As well as responsibility, and respect.

My experience with special needs children...

Ive not had any personal experience with special needs, but I did take classes in middle-high school where I would go to the special needs room everyday to learn about their disability’s and how they perform, as well as their defects and sensitive spots. I’ve also learned how to take care of those with certain illnesses and how to respond to incidents when they happen. I am very aware and sensitive and gentle when it comes to our beautiful special needs babies.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I had to teach one of my kids how to swim, and her parents were struggling so I stepped in and taught her how, and she went and showed her mom and she felt so happy her smile lit up the room and it made my day to know that I could have just helped save a life.
