As I said I am a mother of two, a girl and a boy. I began babysitting for family when I was a teenager. I have gained many other children that I grew to love and was honored to watch grow. Some are parents themselves now, and the last one is 5 years old. I have worked in early childhood education for over 6 years. 4 years as an assistant pre k teacher and 2 years in day care. I have been lead teacher in the nursery and one year old class. I have 200 hours of continuing education in the last two years. I am certified in CPR, First Aid and AED through red cross.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of my favorite things to do with children are blowing bubbles, coloring, reading, making and playing with playdough and slime. Getting messy hands-on experiences is the best way for children to learn! Child led play is the most effective way for a child to learn. I love watching a child's natural curiosity and I would build on their individual interest.

Children are always supervised and never left unattended. Only people in the home are me, my husband, and son. I have experience caring for infants to elementary school children. I previously worked at preschools and elementary school providing before and after child care. I provide M-F care, as well as weekend care.
