My name is Amber. Work experience outside of nannying includes; teaching ESL in China for a year with my husband, working as a professional guide and most recently as a polar employee at Summit Station, Greenland and McMurdo Station, Antarctica.
While I've worked in a variety of capacities over the years, it is my work with children that sparks joy. Now, back home to Montana, it's a field I'm hoping to return to.

I taught English abroad for over a year in China. Working with students ages 4-13

I love using art in creative and educational ways. As a nanny in New England, we had plenty of rainy days, but it was an opportunity to allow art and story take over the house. However, in Montana the rainy days are few and I fully subscribe to being outside as much as possible and love activities that can bridge the world's of art, education and our backyard.

I started watching my first charge when he was just a few months old. I stayed on until he was 3, meaning I had the gift of experiencing some pretty special moments. A personally meaningful one, was when this little one invented their own name for me. It warmed my heart and through my time there, it's the only thing he and eventually his family, wound up calling me.
