A little bit about me

I’m currently an undergraduate at Gonzaga University studying finance and management information systems with a minor in health equity. While in Spokane, I have been working as a part-time nanny for two preschool aged boys as while as serving on Gonzaga’s residence associations budget and administration chair. In my free time I enjoy staying active whether that’s spending time outdoors with my husky or getting a quick workout in at the gym. I also enjoy cooking, exploring local spots in Seattle/Spokane, and spending time with friends and family. I have 6 years of childcare experience, with the last 4 years being primarily nannying. As a nanny, most of my experience has been caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and multiples. (Siblings and nanny share setting) Prior to nannying I was a Sunday school preschool teacher, bike works teen lead, and summer sailing instructor at The Center for Wooden Boats for youth between the ages of 8-14 years old.

of course I love all the bonds and relationships I’ve made since I began nannying until now. My absolute favorite moments are when the kids show their appreciation and love for me. It’s when I know I’ve made it. A hug, kiss on the cheek, or even “I don’t want you to leave” always makes my day.
