Before I was ever a single mom raising my own kids, I used to babysit throughout grade school and high school. I also went to New York right after highschool to be a nanny for two families through a company called Heartford, though I don't believe they are around any longer. That was back in 1996.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading aloud, going on walks or bike rides, visiting parks, doing crafts, puzzles or just watching Winnie the Pooh together. Depending on the age, it's also fun to make cookies together or start teaching little chores to do together.
