I was a PSR Tech for 4 years specializing in teens but working with all ages, worked at a Christian daycare for about 1.5 years, and worked as a youth peer support for an additional 4 years. I also worked at specialty products and services with children with special needs as well as having 2 teenage brothers who are both special needs. I have had mental/behavioral health training for the last 10 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Painting, drawing, coloring, playing games, watching educational programs, creating our own games, teaching them about mental health and assisting and explaining how to manage it. Mental health and behavioral health is very important to teach, in my opinion.

Helping to develop problem solving skills, assisting with teaching emotional management and self regulation skills, teaching life skills. All of these things are so vital to the development of a healthy functioning human being in society.
