Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I babysat for family friends from the ages 13 to 18, and maintained a consistant routine. I was an activity planner and floater at the Salesians Boys and Girls Club in East Boston during the summer of 2023, and now work part time at a daycare!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love anything arts and crafts, especially when we can relate it back to the season and our surroundings! Right now would be the perfect time for leaf and pumpkin painting, during the Spring I love to go on walks and pick out flowers we see and go home to make a bouquet! Gardening is something that can be educational and fun, a great way to practice gross motor skills and patience! On rainy, snowy, or extra warm days, staying inside and reading to children is one of my favorite things to do. When they get to that age where they can point out familiar animals, faces, and colors in books, I know there is more exciting moments likes these to come in their journey of development!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Putting with childs needs first. Their growth, development, milestones, safety, and health, are all of my priorities, along with the parents. I want them to know that I have nothing but the best interest of their child/children in mind when I look after them!

While working at my current daycare, I joined when an infant was just starting to transition from crawling to walking, she was still figuring out the mechanics of balance and gravity, but now when I enter the room, she nearly runs to me! It's always such a treat to see how shes began to really grow these past few months.
