A relevant experience is my volunteer work in my mother's 3rd-grade classroom in Florida. There, I assisted with various activities and cared for a group of 17+ children for five years. Additionally, I've had the pleasure of providing paid childcare for friends and family. These opportunities have taught me compassion, listening skills and adaptability.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, especially during the holidays as gifts for loved ones. We also love reading stories and discussing favorite books in group settings. I enjoy teaching younger children colors, letters, and numbers. Additionally, I'm passionate about introducing children to the wonders of nature, like learning about plants and gardening together and for the older ones, how to cook.
The most important part about being a nanny...
As a wife, daughter, granddaughter and aunt I believe the most important aspect of being a nanny is ensuring the child feels safe at all times and comfortable in their environment. This has always been and will always be my top priority.
