Hi! My name is Amelia, and I have experience in care work for adults with disabilities (including medical care and daily personal care), as well as education for elementary school aged children. Specifically, I have worked as a live-in careworker for elderly adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as a facilitator in therapeutic activities for the same group such as gardening, farming, and weaving. I also have experience running a nature-based summer camp for kids, where I ensured the safety, education, and fun of groups of 5-12 year olds, often in an outdoor setting.

I love reading, spending time outside, and farming. I love working with children because of their passion and honesty, and their unabashed interest in the world. I am excited to gain more experience working with children, and enriching the lives of the next generation!
