The most important part about being a nanny...
Safety, professionalism, and rules. When caring for children that aren’t yours or even your own. The most important thing is that they’re always safe. Safety to me is the first thing that matters, I’m very observant and plan ahead. I lay out the activity but weigh the pros and cons anything dangerous thought of the activity is ruled out. Professionalism, what I do on my own time and how I speak is different than what kids eyes should see. Professionalism to me is having a kind observant caring language when speaking remember their ears are hearing too making sure my body language as well as my actions are kid friendly, this means that you don’t show up to work intoxicated or sluggish. And rules, always find what the parents want for their children don’t go off your own biased opinion. I am dealing with others kids so what the parent says goes !!
