I am very grateful to have worked with families for five years now professionally. I grew up learning how to take care of children. My family has been in the childcare business for over 40 years in southern California. I have cared for children ranging from infants to young teens, CPR and fire safety certified and I'm about to renew. I am reliable, trustworthy, honest, and accountable.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depending on the age, I like to do any activities that can be tied in with education. Especially environmental sciences. Learning about plants and the beautiful life outside, I feel is a great way to cultivate a curious mind. Arts and crafts are necessary and making small treats (food education) if allowed is always a plus. Mostly educational activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the child or children are safe and secure at all times. Making sure that all the needs of the child are met and exceed parents' expectations with my performance.
My experience with special needs children...
I spent a year with a beautiful boy who was coded as level 3 on the spectrum. It had very challenging moments, but the structure and knowing exactly the dos and don'ts made the relationship more harmonious.

The LOVE. I know I am to be professional at all times when working with you all. My heart on the other hand can't help but to love unconditionally and do all I can. It is a special gift and privilege to be able to get to know the families.
