A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Amy Bunker. I have been caring for children for 7 years now. I have been nannying a few different families. I was a preschool teaching assistant for a year.

I am willing to drive children. I do drive a truck that only has one bench. I can only take 2 children. If I need to drive more I am comfortable driving your car if I need to.

Due to having as much experience as I do. Working with all ages of children. I am asking for $20/hour, negotiable. I am looking for steady work. Separate living, I have an apartment with 3 other girls so I will need to go to your place. I can't work weekends. I can not travel.

I am going to nail technician school in August. My classes will be every week day from 7:30 - 2pm. So my schedule will change to me being available after those hours. I am also getting married on June 17th so I will need the following week off.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the most important parts about being a nanny is having a connection with the children. You could be the most experienced person in the world but if you don't have a connection with the children, if they don't like you, then it will not work. No one likes to spend the day with people they don't like. If the children like you then it will be easier for you to take care of them and they are more likely to listen to what you say.

I have worked with children with ADHD and high functioning autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I used to watch a 3-year-old girl named Makia. One day she had to wake up really early and was frustrated all day. I decided to put on some music and we had a little dance party to cheer her up.
