Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Painting, Blowing bubbles, Park outings, Reading, Legos, or simpler blocks, Hide and seek, Board games, Riding bikes, listen to them talk about video games, etc. Pretty much whatever they want to do.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Keeping the kids safe and happy. Maintaining the values set by parents and supporting the developmental and emotional needs of the children. While having fun and being a caring person that they can rely on.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience as a DSP as well as years of caring for kids with special needs including autism, adhd, anxiety, and mid. I love to take the extra steps necessary to make experiences not only more accessible, but successful for children with special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Too many to choose from! hmmm. My very first Nanny position was with a delightful little girl that was gifted with language beyond her years. I had a sneezing allergy attack one day and this 2 year old said to me "Miss Amy, do you need some tissues for your issues?".
Another that comes to mind is when one little guy was very sick and needed a nebulizer. He hated that thing. I used to sit him in my lap and we'd watch nature documentaries (the only time he had access to my phone so it was very special). He would sit so well for me and always made it through the full treatment. I remember feeling so proud of this tiny human sitting in my lap. And truly honored that he trusted me to care for him in that special way.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Concord, TN: Donna S.
Hi, I love working with kids. I had my own in-home child care for 6 years. I cared for 5 children at a time and truly loved seeing them reach milestones, develop their personalities, and try new things. I worked at my church with children for 20 years caring for children from 18 months old to 18 years old (not at the same time). I have raised 5 children, 4 with special needs. All of my kids are grown, and my grandchildren are getting older (they're in elementary school). I miss the days of watching them grow and develop into little people and watching the excitement in their eyes as they experience the world for the first time.

I have a Bachelor’s in Occupational Science and a Master of Science, along with over 6 years of childcare experience. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and have worked with children of all ages—from infants to school-aged kids.
I love creating a fun and engaging environment for the kids I care for, whether that’s through arts and crafts, outdoor play, or learning activities that encourage creativity and independence. My background in occupational science helps me understand each child’s unique needs and support their growth in meaningful ways.
When I’m not babysitting, I’m usually spending time with my one-year-old dog, Layla, who keeps me on my toes and makes life a little extra fun!
I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family and help care for your little ones. 💛

My name is Mitzi Bradley, and I have been dedicated to working in child care for over 15 years.
