More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I supported children ranging from 18 months to 6 years old. My responsibilities included preparing meals, planning fun and educational activities, managing nap and potty routines, and creating smooth daily transitions. I’ve also helped out in group settings—like co-op playdates and outings—which strengthened my ability to multitask and adapt quickly to different children’s personalities and needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing crafts with children because their imaginations are incredibly vibrant, even at such a young age. It’s inspiring to see how freely they create—whether it’s painting, gluing, or building—and how proud they are of what they make. I enjoy encouraging that creativity and watching their confidence grow with every project.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny… is creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe, understood, and excited to grow. Whether I'm cheering them on through milestones like potty training or witnessing a nonverbal child proudly count aloud for the first time, every moment matters. I believe in being present, adaptable, and encouraging guiding their creativity through crafts and play, and supporting families through consistent care. It’s about more than supervision—it’s about connection, trust, and helping each child shine in their own way.
My experience with special needs children...
I've had the opportunity to care for children with autism spectrum disorder and sensory processing differences. This included working closely with families and therapists to support speech, occupational, and behavioral goals during daily routines. I found joy in creating calm, predictable environments and using visual aids, sensory play, and positive reinforcement to help children feel safe, understood, and confident. These experiences deepened my empathy, flexibility, and commitment to meeting each child's unique needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most memorable moments in my caregiving journey was when a nonverbal autistic child I worked with counted out loud from one to three for the very first time. We had spent weeks practicing with visual aids, hands-on games, and gentle prompting. When he suddenly said the numbers on his own, clear as day, it was one of those quiet triumphs that filled the whole room. His joy—and the pride on his parents’ faces—reminded me why I love this work so deeply.

Hi! My name is Daiana, I’m from Argentina, 27 years old, and currently a student living in Encinitas. Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Encinitas, CA: Margaret W.
Hi there! I'm Margo, and I’ve spent several years caring for kids of all ages, from babysitting little ones (ages 3-10) to working with special needs children in a daytime care setting. I truly love spending time with kids—whether it’s getting creative with arts and crafts, exploring outside, or just making sure they feel safe and supported.
I’m reliable, patient, and always bring a warm, compassionate approach to caregiving. I know how important it is for parents to feel at ease when leaving their children with someone, and I take that trust seriously. I’m looking for a part-time nanny position (around 30 hours per week) in Cardiff-by-the-Sea or Encinitas. If you’re looking for someone who will genuinely care for your little ones, I’d love to connect!
