A little bit about me

Hello prospective families,
My name is Amy, and I am a stay at home mom with a three year old daughter. We keep our days adventurous and engaging with lots of outings to the park, library, Amazeum, and other great family friendly spots around NWA.

Connecting with children is something that has come very easily to me and allows me to form strong bonds and good foundations of trust.

I have, recently, nannied for a few families that I really connected with. Their children benefited from having my daughter around just as my daughter benefited from them. I love that my daughter gets to form close connections with other children as part of our routine. As a nanny, my hope is to connect with both parents and children, and leave parent/s at ease knowing your child/children are in caring hands. I hope to make that connection again in the future!

Along with a CPR certification, I also have great childcare experience, including: aide/assistant in preschool, elementary school, and special day class settings; daycare experience; babysitting and nanny experience for infants through adolescent ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to craft, engage in dramatic play, read, and play games inside. I have also come to love Cosmic Kids Yoga (a terrific program for children’s yoga on YouTube) for inside play when outside play is not an option. Spending time outdoors is a preference of mine. Going to the park, playing hide and seek, tag, follow the leader, Simon says, riding bikes/scooters, and walking pets are all favorite activities of mine.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being someone that the children enjoy being around. I want whoever I care for to look forward to my presence. I like to make life for the children and parent/s easier.
