A little bit about me

My name is Amy and I am 32 years old. I’m a mother to a five year old adorable little girl. A stay at home mom, now she’s off to kindergarten and I have an empty nest. When I was a kid and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up my answer would always be “a mom”. I am a natural born nurturer & I have been babysitting since I’m 15 years old. I have cared for children from newborn (with severe heart condition) to the age of about 12. I worked at tutor time in islandia for a short period of time before having my own child & my experience there was mostly in the infant room & with the “threes” I have several certifications through working at tutor time. I also worked for boces with special needs teenagers. Working with, caring for & teaching little ones is my passion & I treat all the children I’ve watched as well as all of my friends children as if they were my own. Looking to provide child care in my own home because I myself am looking to expand my family in the near future.
