You get to see tiny little hands and tiny little feet turn into tiny little people that talk and love. I truly love working with young kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never babysat or nannied for special needs children but as a lifeguard I have to be extremely aware if someone needs extra attention. I always ask the parents permission to help so that everyone can have fun in a safe environment.
