I am 55 years old and have two grown adult children and seven grandchildren. I have been caring for children since I was about 14 years old and started babysitting as a child. I have cared for many children through the years. I have had a home day care and have cared for up to six children at one time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing all types of activities with children. I like to build blocks with them make towers that they can knock over. I love to color I have taught all of my grandchildren, how to swim, teaching them how to do a flip or walk or crawl I love, helping them meet milestones and be proud of themselves.

My experience with special needs children...
My grandson is autistic. He is high functioning and has auditory processing disorder. I understand how patient you have to be and be aware that they’re not ignoring you or doing things on purpose. I used to be a home care provider for extremely disabled adults and use some who were invalids and completely bedbound so I have taken care of the littlest to the eldest with small needs and very significant needs.
