More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have multiple years of experience working with children ages 6 months to 12 years old. Our favorite activities were going to the park, the public library, and visiting the local Museum of Play. I was in charge of light-housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, and nap time. We enjoyed taking books home from the library and reading them as many times as we could before having to return them. The children loved to engage in arts and crafts, as well as playing dress up and reenacting their favorite movies.

I worked as an assistant teacher with toddlers. They range anywhere from 18 months to 3 years of age. I am responsible for giving them a safe and fun atmosphere where they can learn and grow. Establishing a schedule is so important for children in this age group because it teaches them consistency.

I also worked as a summer camp counselor at Camp Wyomoco. I was in charge of 8-12 year olds.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending quality time with kids and keeping them engaged through fun, hands-on activities. Some of my favorites include reading books together, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, going on little adventures, baking simple treats, and having creative playtime. I enjoy helping kids explore their interests, use their imagination, and build confidence while having fun.
