Hey! I'm Ana Kary, a Mexican American woman that has been working as a teacher for more than 5 years now. I've taught both kids and adults online and in a class room setting. I started babysitting my little sister since I was a kid but I started working at a day care when I was 12, where I took care of children of all ages, from infants to 8 and 9-year-olds. From when I was twelve all the way through high school, I was a Sunday school teacher for children from the age of 5-13. I've also taken care of my friend's and family's new born babies and toddlers on several occasions.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking them to the park or to a museum, as that's what I did for fun when I was a kid. I also love entering their little world when they're playing with their toys. I'm great at reading bed time stories and giving each character from the book a different personality!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I'm extremely passionate about being a part of someone's growth. I've been a teacher for over 5 years now and a tutor for over 12 years. I've always loved to help a person's development process and children are little sponges that learn super easily. I enjoy being a part of that growth process.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was once taking care of a very stubborn toddler. It was very hard for him to accept me when I would ask him for a hug when I said hello or goodbye. He was very rebellious but as soon as I started being more strict with him, he started opening up and he even wanted me to play with his toys. He started offering to share any snacks he had. It was such a heart warming experience!

Kids get bored easily so activities indoor or outdoor are a must so they can be distracted and kept busy. Getting to know a toddler by stopping by and saying hello 1st is important before initial time alone with child. Babysat 3 pastors kids while they were out of country or just a date night.
