While working at the Haywood Health and Fitness Center Nursery, during afternoons I typically have only one or two kids at a time. I watch one 6y/o girl and her 2y/o brother multiple days a week during afternoons. When I first began caring for them, the girl only enjoyed watching TV shows and would not interact with me or her brother, and was very unhappy when at the nursery. Now she is excited every time she comes, she loves arts and crafts, we often do face-paint, she loves to dance to her favorite music, and she’s super helpful and attentive to her brother.
