I have nannied for infants, toddlers, and children throughout my life. I am about to be 29 years old and since I was able to care for others, I have been. When Bug and Goose Playcafe in Elm Grove first opened (during covid), I was hired on as the assistant manager. There I cleaned all the toys and set them up for imaginative play, hosted events, birthday parties, play times, and hosted an enrichment class. I also volunteer each year for a camp called Royal Family KIDS camp. It is a week long overnight camp that is specifically for children who have been impacted by abuse, abandonment and neglect in the foster care system. Additionally, I am currently in my junior year at Southeastern University online. I am working on my bachelor's degree for Human Services and Psychology with an interest in childhood trauma and development.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy teaching children in ways that they can understand. I like to be creative, whether that is through imaginative play or by arts and crafts. Going to the park is a great way to get play and exercise in. Additionally, I enjoy reading children's books and playing games.
