I am a former full time nanny, and have worked in the public school system in various roles including VPK assistant, teacher’s aid, after-school counselor, and tutoring. Most recently I am an art teacher and reading interventionist at a school for students with Autism.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Any and all art, especially drawing! Also make-believe games, outside play, swimming, movies, board games, video games…anything! I love cartoons and can happily discuss Pokémon and Disney.

My experience with special needs children...
I am a former nanny to a child on the Autism spectrum, and currently work with children of all ages with Autism, Downs Syndrome, ADHD, and behavioral issues. I also have experience working with children who have physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy. I have been through the Applied Behavioral Therapy training (not holding license) and Safety Care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many, but one of my favorites was spending weeks inventing and developing our own board game, complete with board, game pieces, and detailed rules!
