A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Andrea, and I have a genuine love for working with children and helping families feel supported. I have several years of experience working in a private daycare, where I cared for children ranging from newborns all the way up to 10 years old. From infant care and nap schedules to homework help and playtime, I truly enjoy every stage of childhood.

I am First Aid and CPR certified, reliable, and have my own transportation, so safety and dependability are always a top priority for me. I also love animals and am very comfortable in homes with pets. Staying organized comes naturally to me, and I’m always happy to help with light housekeeping, tidying up, and keeping things running smoothly.

Most of all, I absolutely love kids and take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can learn, grow, and be themselves. I look forward to becoming a trusted and caring part of your family!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have several years of experience working in a private daycare, caring for children from newborns up to 10 years old. In that role, I managed daily routines including scheduled nap times, meals, and administering medications when needed. In addition to my daycare work, I also provided private babysitting for some of the children I cared for, which gave me the opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships with both the kids and their families. These experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of children’s needs at different ages!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

During the summer, I love spending time outdoors with kids—whether that’s going to the playground or doing something more laid-back like sitting outside and coloring. I really enjoy encouraging kids to get fresh air and enjoy being outside.

Indoors, I enjoy doing crafts, coloring, reading books, and playing games together. I love creating a calm, fun environment where kids can be creative and feel comfortable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and lasting relationships with both the children and their parents. I’ve had the opportunity to be a long-term nanny for several families I originally worked with through a private daycare, and those relationships are something I truly value. I love being part of a child’s day-to-day life—supporting their routines, celebrating milestones, and watching them grow, learn, and gain confidence over time. Being someone families can rely on and feel comfortable with is incredibly important to me.

My experience with special needs children...

While I don’t have direct one-on-one experience specifically working with children with special needs, I do have experience caring for children with a wide range of personalities, developmental stages, and individual needs through my work in a private daycare. I’m patient, attentive, and always willing to learn and follow family routines, guidance, and any care plans provided.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is when a child shows me they truly trust me. I’ll never forget the first time a little one ran into my arms the moment I walked in, or when they stayed happy and calm as their parents said goodbye. Those are the moments that melt my heart, when you see that a child feels safe, loved, and excited to see you. It’s a beautiful reminder that the bond we build is real, and that I get to be a part of their little world every day.
