Rachel
"Andressa is a wonderful nanny. Our son absolutely adored her and asked for her every morning. She takes initiative with finding activities for him and comes up with creative art projects and games. She's also very helpful to us around the house and overall makes our life easier. She is kind, trustworthy, intelligent, and pleasant to have around. We trusted her to drive our son around to activities, including going to the park, the library, and swim class. We moved out of the area, otherwise we would have loved to keep her as our nanny for many years!"

"Andressa is wonderful. She has been babysitting our daughters ocassionally for the last 6 months. Our girls are 6 and 4 and absolutely adore Andressa. She is reliable, trustworthy and loves children. Our girls get super excited when they know Andressa is coming over. She plays with them at home, takes them to the library and/or playground, makes them dinner, puts them to sleep, etc. We always feel super comfortable when we know Andressa is with watching the kids. If we needed a full time nanny, we would hire Andressa without hesitation."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a volunteer at my church, specifically in the children's ministry on Sundays. I take care of children of all ages, ranging from 0 to 14 years old. It's a fulfilling role that allows me to contribute to their growth and well-being within a loving and nurturing environment. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and make a positive impact on their lives.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m a Montessori enthusiast, so I focus on incorporating children into daily activities to foster their independence and self-confidence. I enjoy involving them in routine tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and gardening, where they can learn and contribute meaningfully. Additionally, I set aside time for reading books, engaging in arts and crafts, and enjoying music. Outdoor activities are also essential, including nature exploration in parks, picnics, playground visits, zoo trips, and farm visits. I also love taking them to story time at the library and attending music events for kids, all designed to stimulate their curiosity and development.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important aspect of being a nanny is creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children in your care. Building trust with both the children and their parents is crucial, as it allows for open communication and a positive relationship. Additionally, being patient, attentive, and adaptable are essential qualities for a successful nanny. Understanding and catering to the individual needs of each child, whether it's through play, learning, or simply providing emotional support, is vital for their well-being.
Ultimately, being a nanny means being a role model and positively influencing the lives of the children, which is both rewarding and impactful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the most heartwarming moments I've experienced during my nanny career was when one of the boys I care for, a seven-year-old, wrote a book at school. The story revolved around him and me embarking on an adventure across Latin America. I had no idea that his book was about us until the day of the final presentation. As I read the book and saw how he portrayed me through his eyes, my heart melted.
This precious moment reaffirmed why I am so passionate about being a nanny. It's not just about providing care and guidance; it's about forming meaningful connections with the children I look after. Knowing that I have made a positive impact on this child's life, to the point where he felt inspired to write a book about our adventures, fills me with immense joy and gratitude. It's these moments that remind me of the incredible privilege and responsibility it is to be a nanny.
