A little bit about me

I have raised a beautiful intelligent daughter. I worked in daycare to be with her, while I went to college at night. I completed school as a medical office asst. I have more patience with the elderly and children. I always have enjoyed working with kids. I was only able to have one beautiful child. so I was a little over protective. All the kids I have worked with have grown to be awesome parents themselves. I feel it more important to protect them for they our our future. I'm 47. My daughter is 27 and waiting to have children till she feels the time is right for her. And I'm thankful for her not rushing. even though I know I raised a very responsibility young lady. And she is making sure she is set in life before she brings another life into the world. I feel it's best to stay calm and patient with young one, a little silly at times. Have them on a routine and stop when they need a little extra time if the are not having a good day. But I try to be as positive as possible

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Depending on weather. I enjoy watching them learn as well as being excited avout it. Learbing about animalshow delicate new babie can be. To treat them with love and kindness. So they are educated on the outside world with the animals.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me to let them know they can always trust you. Make sure you are close and aware of their security. And giving them that extra care when they just beed a break and to be rocked or set and read a book. Make sure they are comfortable and feel safe and loved by their nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I had kept my daudgter on a schdule so i was un aware she was on the spectrum. I believe it is very important. Along with patients. Staying calm. Along with more one on one care at time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching the children grown. Their faces light up when they discover new things or learning to do a new activity on their own. The smallest things make their day.
