Some activities I enjoy to participate in when caring for children are reading books, playing board games, creating arts and crafts, coloring, playing outdoor games, when weather permits, such as ball toss, badminton, soccer and other beginner friendly sports.

I have assisted in a special ED room at an elementary school often. I assist with reading, snack time, arts and crafts and holiday events. Helping the students organize their spaces and respect other students spaces while ensuring they feel comfortable and confident to ask for help. I have experience with a non verbal student who uses a communication device to ask questions and learn while in the classroom.
