When my children were younger, I wanted to work at a place where if needed they could join me. I worked as an instructor at a local company teaching “mommy & me” classes with children ranging from infant to early school age. I also got the pleasure of teaching an arts and crafts classes to toddlers and school aged children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Outdoor activities when the weather call for it, although playing in the snow is a favorite as well. Arts and crafts, story time at a local library if children fall in that toddler range. Trying to keep children busy by activities that also allow them to learn.

The most important part of being a nanny would be working with such amazing family’s. As a mother I know it’s difficult to trust someone with the care of your children. That trust is imperative and I believe I can provide that.

My son is autistic and I must say he’s most definitely the most intelligent 18 year old I’ve ever encountered. I have also cared for a physically disabled toddler who was non-verbal and autistic as well.

I would have to say picking the kids up from preschool or grade school and then running out to hug you because I have built that relationship and trust with them.
