I bring extensive hands-on experience caring for and working with children across different ages and settings. I raised three sons, giving me years of practical experience managing daily routines, meals, activities, schedules, and the many responsibilities that come with raising children.

I’m also a grandmother to two boys, ages 7 and 4, and remain actively involved in their lives. Professionally, I have experience as a Sunday School teacher and as a Petite Picasso art instructor for preschool-aged children. In these roles, I created engaging, age-appropriate activities while providing a safe, encouraging, and nurturing environment.

Together, these experiences have developed my strengths in patience, communication, creativity, organization, and keeping children engaged while making their well-being and happiness a priority.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping children engaged through a mix of creative, educational, and active activities. Indoors, I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, coloring, age-appropriate games, baking, music, and imaginative play. My experience teaching preschool art makes creative activities a particular favorite.

Outdoors, I enjoy walks, playground adventures, nature exploration, collecting treasures like shells and leaves, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and simple outdoor games. Living near the coast, I especially enjoy beach outings and exploring the outdoors with children. I believe the best activities are ones that encourage curiosity, creativity, movement, and lots of laughter!
