Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I had my own 2 children, one special needs on the spectrum. They are 14 months apart. We were very active. Every day the park, library, or mommy and me group. Zoo, aquarium, art classes. We were never idle.
During elementary school years I worked at a coop school while my kids were going to school. I loved it. I also home cared for many students with my children because the parents loved and trusted me. I have a ton of experience with all ages of children. I can provide references upon request.
At the beginning of this year, I decided to obtain my Nursing certificate as well as BLS. I will have this completed by the beginning of April 2025.I have been tested for TB as well as have had my Flu and COVID vaccine. I had to do this before I was accepted to nurse assistant school. Anyone taking care others should have a TB screening done.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going for walks, taking to the park or the beach. I enjoy going and doing toddler classes at the library. They provide reading, singing and art classes for littles of all ages. I would always do fun art activities with my children when they were younger. My youngest is quite the artist.
When they are a little older, I like to include them in baking or decorating. Or even just helping in the kitchen or with little chores around the house.
I love getting down to their level and playing with them or reading. Play doh, nontoxic paints, homemade doughs. So much fun!

I have brought up my own son who is PDD-NOS, mid spectrum. I have a ton of experience with special needs. These guys need extra care and love.
