I babysat and was a nanny for 5 years. I was a nanny for a 6 year old kid from theUES for 6months. He was a first grader and didn’t speak much english so I helped tutor him as I spoke his first language (cantonese). I babysat 4 of my baby/toddler cousins (3 boys and 1 girl)from ages 6months-10 years old for 3 years. I feed, diapered, bathed, and engaged them in games, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. I babysat for a family in Tribeca with 2 kids ,one 9 year old girl and one 4 year old girl. I packed lunches, put them to bed, pick them up from school, organized their playdates, did their hair for school, and helped them with homework.

I love bringing them to the park and playdates. I also enjoy playing doll house or board games with them.

is staying on top of things, ensuring the safety of the kids, and keeping in touch with the parents. Putting their needs above all else.
My experience with special needs children...
I Tutored a 3rd grader with dyslexia in reading and writing. I incorporated multi-sensory approaches, such as using tactile materials and interactive reading exercises.
The most important part about being a nanny...
was when I picked up a kid for the last time because I was no longer working with them and the kid gave me a longer hug when I dropped him off.
